The Statement Taking Course is delivered as part of the Certificate III in Investigative Services which is the pre requisite for licensing in Australia. The Australian School of Security and Investigations are delivering a professional Statement and Interviewing Techniques workshop in both Melbourne and Adelaide for investigators which will increase skill levels in these Important areas.
These courses are hands on and provide simple steps to obtain detailed information in a chronological (time) order from witnesses, complainants, suspects and any person that you are trying to get information from.
You do not need to be an ASSI student to attend this course and at the completion you will be awarded with a Certificate of Competency in Advanced Interviewing Techniques and a Statement of Attainment for the Certificate III in Investigations unit PRSIS307A - Conduct Interviews and Take Statements.

These workshops are based on nationally accredited units of training and in Victoria, would meet requirements for continual improvement and self development as required by the Licensing Services Division of the Victorian Police.
