Hi Adrian,

Just a quick note of appreciation for the work and effort you put into the Advanced Surveillance course I attended in Sydney this week. The wealth of your demonstrated experience and the simulated reality of the practical components has equipped me with the understanding on how to perform surveillance on my own or within a team applying the professionalism that the task requires. Having completed the Cert III with ASSI in Investigative Services I feel this is a course that is a MUST for anyone wanting to enter into a field of Investigative Services in order to perform their job effectively.

Hi Adrian

On a personal level, I thought the Advanced Surveillance course was excellent and would highly recommend it for anyone pursuing a career as a private investigator, police or surveillance officer.

The course was above and beyond the surveillance duties of an (department name withheld for security purposes) inspector. However, the course has numerous components (static and foot surveillance) that are relevant the duties of an inspector. Also, and probably most importantly from a large investigative department's point of view, the course offers additional skill development that are imperative to running an efficient team. These being:

1) Leadership skills;
2) Developing unit cohesion;
3) Critical analysis under pressure;
4) Coordinating resources;
5) Developing a 'can do' attitude; and
6) Maintaining an 'objective' focus.

Most importantly, anyone attending this course is sure to walk away with a better understanding of surveillance principles, which can then be deployed as required. Also, the course will certainly raise the moral of any group of employees attending the course.

FYI, the above points will be included in a report to be provided to Senior Management.

Thanks again for a wonderful course, I thoroughly enjoyed each element and thought the escalation of information and skill development was perfect. It did not over load me as a student, but kept the pressure on; which is exactly what I would expect doing this in a real life scenario. The lessons learned will not be forgotten.

Hi Adrian

In relation to the Advanced Surveillance Course I attended last week, I enjoyed being challanged and the fact that you didn't baby us through the training made the process more enjoyable. You taught us the relevant principles and then allowed us to use our resources at hand and coping & team skills and this was the best way to learn. Not once did I feel the need to call on the assistance of Squirrel (Ghost Operative). Further more I am extremely grateful for you going above and beyond and offering your feedback on my desires to become part of an advanced Surveillance Team.

The Advanced Surveillance Course further develops those skills taught in the Covert Surveillance Course and pushes you even further with challanges in team work, radio use and vehicle & foot follows. The experience I gained in this course will go along way to further my position within the investigations industry. These principles can not be adequetly taught online or in a class room enviroment and this course was pracitical, hands on and challanging from the first hour and continued to build from there until the final exercise. This course is extremely rewarding I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to work in a Surveillance role, be it in the private sector or one of the public sector surveillance teams, your experience and confidence will skyrocket. The experience gained is far more valuable than the small finacial cost assosciated with undertaking the course.

Adrian & Colin,

First off would like to Thank you both for allowing me to develop my Investigative skills further by attending the Adv Surv course in Perth (3 - 6 Apr 09).

The 4 day Adv Surv course by any definition was definitely ADVANCED, having done the Basic Surv course which gives any Investigator a good grounding in the principles & methodology of Surveillance, the Advanced course made the Basic course look like you where standing still.

The technology & equipment alone used on the Adv course was worth the price of the course, let alone the knowledge & experience we gained by being hands on with all the gear & hitting the streets within 2 hours of starting the course. Great stuff

Really enjoyed the "Shuffles" & say "Hi to Ruby" for us &............................. I could describe the whole course but that would deprive others of the outstanding experience & knowledge they inherit when they partake of the Adv Surveillance course.

I would encourage any budding Investigators & even those more experienced Investigators to invest in your Professional Development & attend this course... "IT IS WORTH IT".

Thanks again Adrian & Colin it was truly a pleasure (So much so I didn't want to go back to work, wanted to keep playing) please keep me updated with any new courses & job opportunities that come about.

Hi all,

for those of you who have been looking at the Advanced Surveillance course and would like some information on it then here it is as I have done the course recently and give it the big thumbs up.

What you will learn in this course will set you aside from the others as when you have completed this course you will be able to work in a professional team as a unit and have the confidence of doing surveillance with a whole new breath of fresh air. This is how I felt personally anyway and am sure all the others on the course felt the same way.

I was surprised to see a good number of those on the course had a lot of experience in all areas of our industry, which was great also working with these people doing surveillance and rubbing shoulders and proving to them that you are able to work with them and get the job done.

As for the instructor, it was great to be trained by someone who is able to get his message across to us all, even when you have not done something how it should be done, the message is always constructive. This makes one relaxed as it very encouraging for the trainees and creates a great atmosphere for all.

I was expecting to spend a lot of time inside a classroom going over techniques taking notes and so on, however a massive amount of time was on the job and practicing the real thing and getting it right with excellent supervision teaching you all the know how.

Anyone looking at getting into this industry would benefit a great deal from this course. I think for the cost of the course it is money well spent as the value you get out of it is will far pass what you have spent. Investigators spend thousands of dollars on equipment, yet will fail if they do not get the training and develop the skills they need to get the job

This method of surveillance would also be able to be put into practice anywhere in the world and I can see why that is exactly why Adrian dose teach all over the world, so for those of you who are over seas I recommend you do this course to.

I would like to tell more but I think you should check it out for yourself.

Hi All,

I have recently become a licensed Investigator & have just completed the Advanced Surveillance Course in Perth with ASSI & wanted to let you know how fantastic & informative it was. The whole 4 days were completely "hands-on", using all up to date equipment which was provided & the way in which Adrian & Colin conducted the course was first class. We were put through many real life investigation scenarios during the four days culminating in an awesome last day exercise which my whole team enjoyed immensely!!!!!!!!

We were provided with such valuable knowledge during the course by Adrian & Colin which only comes from their years of vast experience in the industry. To anyone who is considering a career in this industry or who may already be in the industry, I can thoroughly recommend this course & can assure you that you will leave a greater understanding of what is required to be successful in the field of surveillance.
